Within
the ancient “Casa della Giustizia” of this little village
not too far away from Genova, there was this peculiar museum of extremely
precious and refined objects. A very special coffer hiding a filigree
treasure that had to be exposed with a deep care. The project has completely
changed the structure of the exhibition, using one floor more and trying
to communicate to the visitor not only the beauty of the filigree jewels
but even the atmosphere of a whole village that lives mainly on this activity.
So we have a big section regarding the small but extraordinary instruments
used by the craftsmen that is close to the section of the jewels. These
are shown in long glass cases with a spot light that illuminates the objects
in a dark room, to le the illuminate the whole space with their beauty.
